I'm back guys!!!
"That God was reconciling the world himself in Christ, not counting people's sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. We are therefore Christ's ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ's behalf: Be reconciled to God."
-2 Corinthians 5:19-2
Ok, confession time. When I first read this verse, I was like, "Huhh?" For example, i didn't even know what reconcile meant. Soooo, I googled up on the inter-webs what reconciliation meant and the definition was this: the action of making one view or belief compatible with another. And then i said to myself, "Ohhhh. So it's like being a missionary. Making other believe in God and believe in his word. Spreading his word is sort of an example of the definition." We represent God. He has sent us to share about him and his word. We should be honored to be and ambassador and we shouldn't be ashamed or take that for granted.

Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, long suffering Colossians 3:12
sorry i haven't been posting in a while . This verse means that we should give everything we have to God. God has told us to worship him and to love him. Even if we have to go through trouble or suffering, we should always give everything to God

Colossians 3:12 Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, long suffering
"Christ is all" is the verse that comes before this one. It's actually very important or else you won't be able to understand the rest. The adjectives (I'm assuming) are talking about God. Elect means chosen for something. The verse describes God. One word that would relate to my life would be "long suffering." Now, again, I'm not sure if this verse is talking about God himself but if it does, the long suffering would be his decent unto earth to be killed. His life here on earth was rather long (for us). He died when he was in his 30's and I'm not even in my thirties! All through his years, he must of had a lot of people persecute him which lead to his death. This is the true meaning of long suffering.

"When pride comes, then comes disgrace, but with humility comes wisdom." (Proverbs 11:2)
I think this verse has a lot of meaning behind it. When it says when pride comes then comes disgrace it's saying like if you are boasting about something you accomplished in a negative way then disgrace can come after. For example, if you are like very confident in something you are about to do and brag to everyone that you are better than them and going to do great, but then in the end, end up badly that will be very embarrassing for you. When it says with humility comes wisdom it is saying that when you are humiliated, you can learn from it. For example, if you are called in class by the teacher and you don't know the question and you get embarrassed a little, then next time you should know to be ready for the questions and prepared. (Happened to me before :/)
:) <3 where is everyone's post? (not saying that i'm constantly posting either)

We ought always to thank God for you, brothers and sisters, and rightly so, because your faith is growing more and more, and the love all of you have for one another is increasing.
Read each others posts and write words of encouragements from now on!
Guys come on! Keep it up until the summer!!!! This verse to me means we should be thankful for our sister/brothers in Christ (YOU GUYS!). The other half is telling us the reason we should do this. The reason explained is because of your growing faith your love for each other is supposed to grow with it. Basically, it is talking about how we should start growing deeper relationships with one another as our faith grows. However, if our faith has come to a holt, your relationship with your sister/brother will grow dim. I also relate this verse to Glue Going Deeper.

"Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves. Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good." (Romans 12:9, 10)
This verse is explaining to us to not put ourselves in front of another person. We should always think about others first then yourself. We should dislike what is bad or evil and worship and love what is good. If we are selfish then we are not doing what God wants us to do. We should always be thinking about others just like Jesus ALWAYS thinks about us. Think, "WWJD?" (what would Jesus do?) We can and WILL be tempted by the devil to do wrong, and sometimes we will fall into his trap, but if we always know that Jesus is inside our souls telling us to do right, then we can conquer the devil and make him fall into his own trap.

Sorry I haven't been posting lately!
"Follow God's example, therefore, as dearly loved children and walk in the way of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God." -Ephesians 5:1-2 (NIV)
What this verse means to me is that we should follow God's example and follow him in his footsteps. We should be like Jesus, and resist temptation. This is not saying that you HAVE to be perfect, because God is perfect and no one compares to him. Jesus died for us, and we should thank him for that. He sacrificed him for us and we should give him recognition. Jesus put his life in the hands of God, trusting him that he will rise from the grave. Jesus gave a perfect example of trusting God. He put his life on the line, and risked it. Remember to always trust God, and follow him in his footsteps.
