"There is a way that appears to be right, but in the end it leads to dead." (Proverbs 16:25)
I think this verse is talking about temptation. If someone tells us to believe something and we follow what they say NOT what God says, it can lead to danger or the worst senerio death. We should always follow what the lord says not what other people (Satan) tells us what to do. If we follow that route it can end up very bad.
