"just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many." Matthew 20:28

I think this verse means that Jesus's purpose was to serve all of us by giving his life away for us. When Jesus was here on earth he sacrificed himself for everyone so their sins could be washed away. This is how Jesus has served all of us and for that we should always remember to be thankful.
